- It's probably a "file creator" problem. All the files on a Mac have an
- ID code that tells what they are and what program created them. When you
- transfer them over from the Amiga, the Mac just thinks they're text files.

- Now the Mac philosophy is "make it easy," so some file requesters only
- show files that are the correct type for that program. (This drives me
- nuts.)

- There are file type conversion programs for the Mac, and CrossMac comes
- with a utility to do this also.
